WTF did she just say?
Oh my goshhhhhhhhhh welcome to my podcast!!! I'm so excited that you're here and I am honoured that you choose to place ME in your AirPods every week!!!
Here's a bit about me:
My name is Sandra. I'm a business coach for women, a feng shui practitioner and a 2x national leadership award winner. In saying all of that though, I feel like I'm just a girl from Saskatchewan, who is put on this earth to inspire you to step into your power ... right fuckin' now.
I think that all too often, we convince ourselves that there is nothing we can do ... that our life "is what it is" and that ONE DAY we might be able to have the life that we dreamed of.
Uhmmmm NO.
That's bullshit.
In a split second, you can choose differently. In THIS moment, you can take that courageous step toward the life you desire. It's my job, my gift and my obsession to help you share your sparkle with the world and I'm excited to get started.
You got this. Let's fuckin' go.

A journal practice that allows you to RELEASE what you can't control
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode I share a journaling strategy that turns resistance into one light FUN action that triggers the Universe to fix whatever I'm worried about. It allows me to stop feeding worry and start building momentum. What else do I talk about?
• the “the more I do X, the more the universe fixes Y” list
• choosing the lightest, funnest action and linking it to trust
• letting go of what I cannot control while doing my small part
• mental decluttering and the contractor metaphor for worry
So go grab a notebook so you can stop worrying and start co-creating with the Universe!

Bracing For Impact In Daily Life
SPEAKER_00Hey girl, it's Monday again, and welcome back to the podcast. Last week I talked about bracing for impact. So if you haven't listened to that podcast, go back and listen to that episode as well because it was really, really good. And I talked about how sometimes we get so used to managing chaos or managing other people, you know, especially as moms, I think. And then when there's like a lull, we brace for the next chaos. It becomes like we're more comfortable in the chaos than we are in the calm. You know, it's equivalent to the weather network saying that there's a tornado that could potentially form at some time today. And so instead of going about our day and just kind of like, you know, managing and noticing if the storm was coming, we would like park a chair and sit and just stare out the window, do absolutely nothing, just stare and wait for this tornado to come. And it might, may or may not ever come. In the meantime, the laundry's fucking piling up and you're not feeding your kids and all the stuff is going on around you, but like you are literally bracing for impact, like you're just staring at the window. This is sometimes how it feels. So I've spoken about that on the podcast, and then I expanded on it in the powerhouse
Mindset Energy Action And Resistance
SPEAKER_00membership. Now, in the powerhouse membership, it's a Facebook group where I do a small training, 15 minutes usually every single week. And it's tips and tricks on mindset, energy, and action, the three things that I think that you need to do every single day in order to achieve your goal. And so this was one of those action pieces. And I talked about a strategy that I have been using so successfully to help me navigate when resistance, when like I was stuck, when I was racing for impact, when I was just like wandering around, doom scrolling in my life and not really taking action towards my goal, really doing nothing, even if I knew that I was supposed to do my mindset energy and action for every single day. I was feeling resistance to do those three tasks and resistance and stuckness and zero action. I mean,
Why Action Creates Clarity
SPEAKER_00just sitting in our mind is never going to get us clarity. Action creates the clarity, momentum creates all of the magic. One of the things that I love to force myself to do is the mindset piece first. And that's usually to get me out of resistance of some type or to just reset any of the limiting beliefs that are holding me back, reset them to positive, you know? And so I was feeling this resistance, and I was in this energy of like trying to solve problems that weren't there yet and rehearse conversations before they actually happen. I I was like pretty much obsessing over things that have no control that I have no control over. So I recognized this. I mean, because awareness is key, and none of us are perfect, perfect, including me.
The Journal Question That Helps
SPEAKER_00So I recognized this and I sat down with my journal and I was just like saying, Dear universe, this is how I'm feeling now. Like I am feeling like I'm in such resistance. I don't want to do the things that I know will get me out of the resistance. How can I make this easier? What can I do to make this easier? And this process came through me that I shared in the Powerhouse membership last week, and I'm gonna share it now. I love it so much. It makes it fun, it allows for magic and it gets you out of resistance, it gets you to do stuff so that you can co-create with the universe. So this is what I did. I started realizing that the there were things that I was really ruminating about, I was I was worrying about. And that worry was taking over my daily actions. And I realized that I have zero control over the thing that I was worrying about. And also, I mean, I really believe that quote has said 95% of the things we worry about never happen. So why am I putting energy onto the thing that I don't want to happen? I mean, I don't want to send that energy out into the universe. I decided as I was journaling, like, how can I open up for more magic? How can I make this more magical? How can I allow the universe to take over? I came up with this strategy. I started
The More I Do X List
SPEAKER_00to jot down in my journal all of the things that I could do that were unrelated to this thing that I was worrying about. I started writing them all down. And I started writing it in this way. The more water I drink, the more the universe fixes this problem. The more journaling I do, the more the universe fixes this problem. The more I laugh, the more the universe fixes this problem. The more relaxed I am, the more the universe fixes this problem. When I go on daily walks, the universe fixes this problem. When I work on my course, the universe fixes this problem. When I meditate, the universe fixes this problem. So after I wrote it all out, I read through it again and I looked through every single thing and found the one that felt the lightest. One that felt the funnest. One funnest. Okay, I think that's a word. It's a new word. But the one that felt the most fun. And you know what? The one that felt the easiest and the most fun and allowed for the most magic was the more water I drank, the more the universe fixes this certain problem. Now, I don't love water. And water is a thing that I'm always sort of like trying to force myself to do. If I had written down the more water I drink, the more weight I lose, they're already connected. That feels like I have to do this. This is a task that gets me from point A to point B. This is a task that I need to do in order to lose weight. And I was feeling resistant to do it. But now I've added fun to it. And I've also allowed it to be the one thing that I could do to trigger the universe to fix the shit that I couldn't, I had no control over. So I read through my list, I found the one that was most fun. The most fun was the more water I drank, the more the universe fixes this problem. And I linked it. Now here's the magic part of it.
Water Sips And Letting Go
SPEAKER_00Every sip I took of the water, it triggered me to remember that the universe has got it. Let go and let God let go and let the universe right allow for magic. Every single sip that I took, it was like programming in my brain, I don't have to worry about this. The universe has got my back. Every sip I take, the universe fixes it. I love this process so much. And here's what happened it opened me up for magic. And then things started to shift in my life because the universe started to handle it. No matter what it is that you want to leave on the universe's list, it's always things you can't control, and those are the things that get us stuck. So you want to get a new job, like whether someone hires you or not, it's kind of like you gotta let it up to the universe, right? Whether whether someone falls in love with you, whether it's opportunities showing up, whether it's healing, whether it's um other people's opinions, there's gotta be a moment where we just give it to God and go to sleep. There's gotta be that moment where we just let go and let God. We've got to let go and let be what happens. So for me, this is an amazing way to co-create, to show the universe that I am fucking serious. I'm gonna drink my water. I'm not gonna go, you know, bananas over it. But I am gonna drink all of my daily allotment of water every single day and every single sip. I'm reprogramming my mind for belief that the problem can be fixed by the universe. You know how
Mental Decluttering And Trusting Control
SPEAKER_00I'm always talking about decluttering with Feng Shui, and I even have a decluttering um email series called Room for Miracles. When we make space, like when we make room in our house, when we clear clutter from our homes, we're making room for miracles. And I really believe that we need to do the same thing mentally because we need to curate what our thoughts are. Some thoughts belong, some don't, some are just clutter. And if it isn't ours to control, we can't give it permanent shelf space in our brain. We have to let it go and let the universe take over. And then we have to consciously remind ourselves not to bring the problem back in. This is like we're hiring the best contractor in the world and they're building your dream house. And every five minutes you walk in, grab the hammer out of their fucking hands because you're thinking that they're not controlling it properly. They're not doing it right. And what happens is, well, you piss off your contractor, but you also slow everything down. They end up just standing there waiting for you to get the fuck out of the way. And our constant worrying does that. We're grabbing the hammer from the universe when we can just trust that the universe has it. We can step out of the way and we can do the things that just remind our brain that miracles happen every single day. And we trust that what we can control is our sip of water, our meditation, doing the dishes every night before going to bed. All of these little things, they can be fun little tactics, fun little strategies that feel good. It feels like we're doing something to trigger the miracles to happen. To let the universe know you're fucking serious. Okay, let's move. Let's co-create this ship together. Let's fix this problem together. I let this go, and I'm gonna drink my water. So
Your One Fun Unrelated Action
SPEAKER_00go grab a notebook, list out what you're worrying about, and choose one fun, unrelated thing that you can do that lets the universe know you got this. Now go have an amazing week. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of output towards the life you always don't want to. If you feel so cold, I would love it if you want to work with you.
