If you keep repeating “I can’t,” “it’s not for me,” or “I’m not ready,” congratulations, you're human.

Unfortunately, those thoughts are the sneaky bitches that keep us from achieving everything we've ever wanted.

And we didn't come to earth to play safe, small and then die.  We were given GIFTS and we are MEANT for abundance ... we just need to stop cock-blocking ourselves from achieving it.

In this episode I talk about the thought I have that keeps me from holding myself back and then I give you one of my favourite reprogramming strategies!!!

Whether your goal is a new business, leaving a job, losing weight, or hitting consistent $10,000 months, the pattern is the same:  big dreams trigger limiting beliefs because your brain thinks safety equals staying the same.

You write your goal, dump every default negative thought it brings up, release it, and rewrite what you choose to believe instead. We also add the missing ingredient that turns mindset work into results: inspired action right away, even if it’s small. This is daily subconscious mind work, not a one-and-done, and it gets easier every time you prove the old story wrong.

Quick Welcome And Mindset Reset

SPEAKER_00

I'm so glad that you're here. You're listening to what the fuck did you just say? What your host that's me at the first place. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random crazy gift, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Hey there, welcome back to the podcast. Happy Monday. I hope you are having the best week ever so far. And if you're not, we're gonna reprogram that. Because if we start the week out thinking that amazing things are gonna happen or just in wonderment of what amazing things are gonna be happening, guess what? Amazing

Complaints Feed The Brain’s Bias

SPEAKER_00

things are gonna be happening. I mean, how awesome is this that we get to create our reality. Complaining about shit only brings more things to complain about. Our mind is an asshole. It wants to be right all the time. So if you say over and over again, I can't achieve this, I can't do this, money's not meant for me, all of the rest of this crap, if you repeat that over and over and over again, your brain is gonna find evidence that it's right. But if we reprogram it to tell it good things, your brain is looking for evidence of that too. The more we shift our perspective towards the possibility of things being amazing, the more amazing things show up. It's co-creating with the universe at its best. And these are really what I see as the bitch in the backseat, the backseat driver of your car. She's annoying as hell. But we don't have to listen to her. We get to tune her out. We get to decide what we want to believe. We get to steer our own vehicle, and that's what

Regret Proof For Going All In

SPEAKER_00

this exercise is about. So let's get some truth bits, some facts out in the forefront. Fact number one if you have a goal, if you have a dream, it means you have the capacity within you to achieve it. Isn't that freeing? I mean, I have a dream of a hundred thousand dollar months, but the fact that I still keep thinking about it means that I can achieve it. That is fucking wild. And also completely amazing. And also shows you that until I get there, I'm holding myself back. And that's what we need to work on. So if you're sitting there and you have some sort of dream, you want to create a business, you want to be able to quit that job, you want to be able to lose the weight, doesn't matter what it is, you're going to have limiting beliefs about it because that's what our brain does. Our default is the negative. Our default is to keep us safe. What a better way to keep us safe than to try to stop us from going all in, from trying our best, from taking leaps forward, taking risks. If we believe the bitch in the backseat that says, you can't fucking do that, are you crazy? We're not going to take that risk and we're going to stay safe, but we're also going to stay small and we're not also going to continually feel like there's something missing. When we have an idea in our mind of I've always wanted to have my own business, if you get to the end of your life and you have never tried running your own business, how will you feel? I always think of this. If I get to the end of my life and I have not reached $100,000 months, am I going to sit there in that hospital bed and think, I wonder if I could have made it if I really went all in? If I stopped worrying about all of the stupid things that don't matter now on this deathbed, could I have achieved it? I bet I could. I know I was meant for it, but I held myself back. And I don't know about you, but I am not going to be that chick. No way. No, ma'am. No. I am refusing to be the person in the bed at the end of my life, thinking about all of the regrets that I had, the things that were holding me back. So I've made it my mission to reprogram those thoughts and to help my clients reprogram theirs because when they come to me with a goal that they want, come hill or high water, we are going to achieve it. And probably bigger than that, too. The first thing we've got to get out of there is the negative thoughts. So fact number, I don't know, 72 that I've said on this podcast so far. You're not special. You are not the only one that has the patent on the negative limiting thoughts that you have. Every single one of us has it. Multi-millionaires, they have limiting beliefs too. They have goals they haven't achieved. And so financial situation, your relationship situation, it doesn't ever matter. If it's a goal that you want to achieve and you don't have it yet, your bitch in the backseat is controlling your actions. The negative beliefs are not you and your limiting beliefs are not true. So once we know that,

The Equals Exercise To Reprogram

SPEAKER_00

we can literally just neutralize them and we can just sit and think. Interesting that my brain would think that. Let's reprogram that now. Okay. Some of these ways are with journal strategies. And I actually have an email series that's in the show notes where you can just click the link and go and you can access my email series where I talk you through journaling strategies, not really prompts, but strategies based on how you're feeling that day. It is the best. I have a number of things in those journal email series, and including this strategy. And this is probably one of my favorites. So the first thing we need to do is decide what goal you have. So grab a piece of paper, grab a pen, write out a goal that you have that you want to achieve, the one that you can't stop thinking about. So let's say your goal is $10,000 months. I want you to write down $10,000 months equals. Now, why do you put the equal sign? Your brain is equating the goal that you have with a negative default. And so what we want to do is bring all of those bastards out because once we write them out, we're going to release them. This is the process to release and reprogram. You start out writing your goal, the equal sign, and your first negative default thought that you have. So it might be $10,000 months equals I'm not good enough. And then I want you to write the goal again. $10,000 months equals I don't have any certifications. Then the third one, $10,000 months equals I don't have enough time in the day. And I want you to just keep going and keep going until you sort of feel like there's a natural state where you can't really come up with any more ridiculous things, or you've gotten to the point where you're getting to the ridiculous things. Like there was one time where I wrote that I couldn't achieve my weight loss goal because I had to do my daughter's hair in the morning. I mean, what was I doing to it? We were not doing fancy updos. I just needed to brush it and put it in a pony. And I totally could have gone to the gym in the morning, but that was a limiting thought that popped out in my journaling practice. And I went, whoa, wait, what the fuck? That's absolutely ridiculous. So I want you to kind of keep going until you get to the ridiculous or until you sort of hit a natural state. Then what I want you to do is say, I want you to write this out. I release this all now and I choose to believe. And now I want you to go again. $10,000 months equals, and now I want you to say all of the things that you want to believe is true. $10,000 months equals, I have all of the time in the world to create this. $10,000 months equals this is easy. $10,000 months equals people refer to me daily. And I want you to keep going and keep going and keep going until you start to reprogram what you want to believe instead. Now, at the end of that, I want you to imagine what is an inspired action that you can take? What is some sort of action that you can take immediately after you're done your journaling? And it might be I'm going to go get a coffee, or it might be to write a post on Instagram. It doesn't really matter what it is. The key is to take some sort of action. And that's what solidifies it in. I will also say this when I do any of my intuitive coaching sessions, if I give someone a ton of advice or a ton of things that I want them to do, I want them to do it immediately post that call. What happens is, especially if I'm just doing like a one-off clarity call, a lot of times what happens is I give so much channeled information and it is like magic. And if people take that and they take action immediately, it's like the universe rewards them for the action. This is part of the practice that I think is really super important. You finish that journal entry with doing something that sort of solidifies it in that says, yes, I'm fucking ready. Let's go, bitch. We're gonna go create a hell out of this. Now, here's the other bit that I need you to know. This is not a one and done, thank you, ma'am, sort of a situation. When we sleep, our subconscious mind is starting to filter things and put them into sort of like little folders and make sense of things. And your subconscious mind is like an ADHD pyromaniac kid with a lighter. It

Inspired Action And Daily Practice

SPEAKER_00

is just running rampant while you sleep. And so when you wake up, you're gonna have those negative thoughts again. And throughout the day, you might actually have those negative beliefs creep up too. It's really important that you're aware of them. And if you have them, just sit down, write it out again. $10,000 months equals, I guess I have this thought again, and then reprogram again. Now, one of the things that I find really great about this process, and this is a process that is adapted by uh a coach of mine, Jana Kingsford. She calls it belief etics. My client calls it the equals exercise, doesn't matter what you call it. I've seen a number of different, different versions. This works verbally too. So when I go on my walks or I'm driving in my car, I can do this practice. So you can just say it out loud or into your phone or whatever. And you can just say $10,000 months equals, I don't think I can do this. $10,000 months equals there's no way I'm gonna keep it if I do make it. $10,000 months equals, I don't think I deserve it. $10,000 months equals who the fuck do I think I am to make $10,000 months? $10,000 months equals I have to do my daughter's hair. And you just say it while you drive, or you say it while you're on a walk. And then you say, I release this all now, and I choose to believe that $10,000 months equals ease, flow, alignment, and more. My coach Jana, she used to say, you only get a day past. So every single day you're gonna need to do this practice until you prove that your limiting beliefs are wrong, until you achieve the fucking thing. You're always gonna have those limiting beliefs, and they don't again. And again, they mean nothing about you, other than the fact that you're human just like me. You and I both have backseat drivers in our car. But we get to put duct tape on her mouth. We don't, we don't have to fucking listen. We still get to drive our car. We know she's there, we know she's annoying, we make her meaningless to us, and we know she's a liar. We just gotta continually remind ourselves of it every day until you achieve the goal. Go take on the day. Have an amazing week. I wonder what amazing things are gonna happen for you.
