Quick Intro And Monday Truth

I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random crazy gift, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Welcome back to another episode of What the Fuck Did She Just Say? Happy Monday. I know the majority of people hate Mondays. You know, it's like back to the grind, back to work. I love Mondays. The reason that I love Mondays is that I forced myself to, to be honest, because I was the chick who was sitting there. I lived for Friday nights because I thought, oh, I'm like so excited for Friday because I get the weekend off and what can I do? And I can relax and I can do all these things. And then Saturday morning came and it was like, oh, closer to Monday morning. Sunday morning came and I'm like, ugh. I'm really close to Monday morning. And by Sunday
Turning Sunday Dread Into Excitement
SPEAKER_00afternoon, I was in a full-on grab my claws onto the side of the tub. I do not want to do this. And so there was a moment in my life where I thought, this is just not fucking serving me. This mentality, this feeling of dread to go to work, it just was not serving me. So there was a moment in my life where I just went, fuck, I can complain about my life. I can be miserable every Sunday afternoon, or I can choose to make Mondays amazing. I can choose to imagine what amazing thing is going to happen this week and get excited for Monday morning. And I feel like that was the beginning where everything started to shift for me. That mindset shift of instead of, oh God, I got to go to work tomorrow. I've got so much on my plate. I'm going to have a whole bunch of emails. Instead of dread, I started to open up to what was possible, open up to excitement. And when I started to do that, I started to see things in a better way. I started to expand what I felt like I could do. I started to achieve more. I started to be way less bitchy. I also started to imagine a life outside of my job. I started to really feel like I was in control of creating my reality. And I mean, I feel like this has been the message for my entire life. Like if you listen to my podcast from last week, you'll know that when I was young, I knew that if I changed my space, I'd change how I felt. So whether it's changing my space to make me feel good, changing my thought process to make me feel good, um, changing everything to make me manifest something different and take different risks and take different challenges and be leaning on faith instead of leaning on fear, leaning on possibility instead of leaning on what I was pissed at, everything started to shift in my life. When I show up on this podcast and I'm saying to you every single morning, when you get up Monday morning or any morning, when you can repeat to yourself, I wonder what amazing things are going to happen for me today. I wonder what amazing things are gonna happen for me this week. My name is blah, blah, blah, and only amazing things happen to me. You can start to see your life in a different way. Even when something shitty happens, I literally sit and I think, okay, this is not fucking ideal, but I know that the universe has my back and I know that God is leading me for greatness. So whatever is volcanoing out of my life right now, or creating this eruption in my life right now, you know what? Things are gonna settle in a beautiful way for me. I literally program myself to think that.
Your Home Sends Constant Signals
SPEAKER_00So moving forward from there, I want to also talk about our space. And I want to build on what I was talking about last week and why I feel like it's so important that every single person grasp this in their lives. I think most people think that their house is something that they try to make pretty, but it's also a container for their things. And that's about it. And I don't think that at all. I think that your house speaks to you. Literally every single corner is constantly sending messages to your brain. We don't only want our space to feel good, we want it to tell a story that supports us in achieving our goals. So there's a couple of ways that we can do that. The first is like obvious messages, right? It's the quotes that we have in our space, it's the signs that we have in our space, it's the vision boards, it's the sticky notes on our mirror. If you have a sticky note on your mirror that says, go kick some fucking ass today, guess what? Some days your conscious mind is gonna read it, you're gonna high-five yourself in the mirror, and you're gonna take on your day. And then sometimes you're gonna look in the mirror and you're gonna do your makeup,
Subconscious Messages From Clutter
SPEAKER_00you're gonna do your hair, and you're not really gonna see that sign in your space. Your conscious mind is grabbing like 40 to 100 bits of information per second. Your subconscious, millions of bits of information per second. We can do all of the conscious reprogramming, right? We can say all of the things, we can start every single Monday off or Sunday night. And we should start every day with, My name is Sandra, and only good things happen to me. We should start every single day off reprogramming our conscious mind, focused on all of the amazing things that are going to happen, and then looking to justify that we're right, looking for the amazing things that we're grateful for. But it is so limiting to only focus on your conscious mind. I mean, if you have a goal, you're trying to convince yourself to like raw dog it and you know, do all of the things that you have to do every single day, and that is all you're doing is focusing on your conscious thought and what you're consciously doing, you're missing the whole fucking point. By making sure that we have things in our environment, things in our space that are speaking to our subconscious mind, all the little bits, all those millions to billions of bits of information that is speaking to us subconsciously, that's when extreme shifts start to happen. So we can use it for the conscious bits, but then we also have the messages you didn't realize you were sending. And this is where Feng Shui gets really exciting. So imagine what does that pile of unopened mail say to you? It's an undone task, it's something on my to-do list. Ugh, I'm gonna have to pay fucking bills. I'm sure there's bills in there. If the pile of unopened mail all looked like tax refunds, it would have a different story to it, right? But what would a broken lamp say? Broken lamp might say, Ugh, I have to fix that, or I don't have enough money to fix that, or I don't want to pay to fix that. A closet stuffed with clothes you hate might say, I don't like anything in my closet, I don't fit anything in my closet, I have nothing to wear. See how that would start out a day differently if you opened up your closet and everything felt wrong gross. What about a spare room full of junk or clutter? What about coming into your office in the morning and all you have is stacks and stacks and stacks of papers that you have yet to address? How would you feel when you walk in and you look at it? Your subconscious mind is gathering it all up. So your subconscious mind is going to open your office door, look at the paperwork, and feel something, right? Overwhelm, pissed off, maybe even guilt for not working on it the prior day, resentment, procrastination. I quite frankly would probably go get a coffee. Even if you consciously can look at it and just think it's normal, or consciously look at the broken lamp and go, yeah, I gotta fix that later. Your subconscious mind is logging it. And here's the thing with reprogramming whether it's consciously or subconsciously, it has to be consistent. We can't just say, My name is Sandra Priestley and everything works out for me. My name is Sandra Priestley and the universe has my back, and then turn around, go eat a sandwich and forget all about it. We have to constantly be reprogramming that in our conscious mind. And we want to be able to use our space to speak to our subconscious as well. It's like the two of them work together.
Build A Champion Environment
SPEAKER_00Today I heard when you've done all that you can do, you pray. And I'm the one that says, I mean, I agree that prayer is so powerful, but I'm the one that says, and also I'm the one that says, when you've done all that you can do, then you feng shui. Pray and feng shui. That should be my new tagline. Because if you think about it, like athletes, they don't become champions because they listen to one motivational speech and they just get it, right? They become champions because they create environments that support their performance. They become champions because they're constantly listening to motivational stuff over and over and over again. They're listening to subliminal messaging, visualizations. They become champions because they create an environment that creates champions and that supports exceptional performance. And your environment does the same. Imagine you're Simone Biles and she's training for the Olympics. Do you think that Simone Biles is going to have uh broken equipment, a cluttered floor, lights that flicker pizza boxes and empty garbage around? She's not. She's not. She is creating everything she possibly can to become an Olympia that includes her space, that includes what she thinks, that includes what she does, that includes what she eats, that includes how she trains. Every single person must focus on all of it. It all becomes important. And that's to me why feng shui is such a huge, huge aspect in any success that we want to achieve. I do not give a shit what it is. I don't care if I am working with you on business success. I'm going to be talking to you about a couple of things: action, mindset, and energy. And the energy that we're talking about is your personal energy and the energy of your home. We will be feng shui in your space. We will be. And it is amazing when a tiny little shift can create a huge shift in your life. If you are forgetting about to use your space, you are making things so much harder. I promise you, you are making your life so much harder. You are putting so many more barriers in front of your success. Feng shui, especially the way that I teach it, feng shui is so pivotal. It will absolutely change everything. The way you feel, the way you think, and what you do. And when you do all of those three things, success is inevitable.
