The Course Purchase Mix-Up

I cannot wait to tell you what has happened this week. I was thinking of signing up for this course called Sticky Stacks. It was one of those things, you know, where like you're thinking, I should sign up for that. I should click on that, I should see what that's about. And then you don't. You go and eat a sandwich and you just fucking forget. And then she messages again and then, oh yeah, I forgot about that. P.S. If you were trying to sell in your business, this is what everyone does. It's not just me. Every single person does this. They think, oh, that sounds really interesting. Then they get distracted. This is why you need to show up. Keep talking, like you're Kim Kardashian talking about her skims. People forget. They truly forget. So anyway, I saw this email. It was so simple. And there was just a little tiny like a screenshot of someone purchasing sticky stacks. And then it was a link. So I hit the link and I looked at the price. And the price was $55 US. And I thought, fuck, $50 to $5 US. Of course. That's a no-brainer. Yes. Yes, I'm in. And I paid. And then I waited for an email to come back. And I did get an email come back, actually, too, which was receipts for what I had purchased, but it didn't say sticky stacks. It said something else. And quite frankly, I don't even remember what the name is. It's something about money may, I don't know, simple money may. I'm not even sure what it is. And I'm thinking, oh, okay, she must have changed the name from sticky stacks to or from that to sticky stacks. Okay. Except nothing else came. I didn't get access to the course that I thought that I was going to purchase. But you know me, I send this email to her team and I say, hey, Taylor's team. I purchased Sticky Stacks, but I didn't get the link to the to the um course. And they came back with Did you pay under a different email? Because I see that you paid for this simple money may blah blah. But I do not see that you've purchased sticky stacks. So if I go out of my way, I'm like, oh, I'm right. I'm for sure I'm right, right? Oh, hang on. I forward them the email that has the little cutout of sticky stacks um in this email, like the little cutout, um, the little screenshot. And they were like, oh yeah, no, that was the ad for this money may thing. Shit. I'm sure that if I said, Oh shit, I want to buy sticky stacks, can I get a refund on this? I'm sure, I'm sure they would have refunded me the money because it's not like I got access to anything yet. But that's not what I did.

Choosing Trust Over A Refund

I chose to believe that, like the universe, God, my angels, my spirit guides, they led me to this money made course. I chose to believe that I was in the right place at the right time, that the universe always has my back. And so this course is meant for me. I did not know that it's like a challenge, which PS, I love challenges. I mean, I have a challenge called the work because I believe that anything that you want to achieve, you have to do all three of these things in order to achieve it. You have to find the strategy, but you have to do the mindset work around it and you have to do energetic work around it and then take action. So in the work, I talk about mindset, energy, and action. And we check in every single day. So that was similar to this. And I'm thinking, okay, I guess I'm in. I'm guessing I'm in because the universe told me I needed to be.

Face-To-Camera Selling And Self-Talk

And then it was show up on your stories, face to camera, talking to the camera, which I have not done for years in my Instagram stories. I mean, I go live in my um in my membership, the powerhouse membership. I go live every single Monday. Like, I'm not averse to going live. I actually will do card readings once a month in that group live. I mean, I put my ass out in the breeze a lot, but not on my social media, not in my Instagram stories. And so I had those like negative thoughts come creep in. But I gotta believe that the universe led me here for a reason. And I also believe that anything that is holding me back is just bullshit. Anything that is holding me back from showing up online in whatever capacity that I'm meant to, it's just the bitch in the backseat that is yapping louder than me who wants to drive my car. So for the past week, I have been face to camera selling my coaching. And it has been fabulous because here's what I notice. I show up and it becomes it's easy, it's effortless, like I'm not really stressed about it. But what's amazing is when you stretch yourself even a little bit, that bitch in the backseat, she gets loud. I start to think, oh shit, I my hair looks awful. Look at all my wrinkles. Why am I not wearing makeup? What happened to my eyebrows? Like I got them microbladed a while back while they faded, you know, and I start to think of all of these bullshit things about how I'm speaking, what I'm saying, what I should have said differently. Um, am I saying the same thing over and over and over again? Yes, so does Kim Kardashian with her skims. I'm just gonna say the same thing over and over and over again because I know that my coaching is transformational. And like my job is to show up and tell you that fuck, it can be so much easier than you're making it, no matter what it is. No matter if it is business coaching, whether it is life coaching, it's relationship coaching, you're trying to heal some sort of trauma in some wake, pasty, like it doesn't matter. I guarantee you're making it harder than it needs to be. And your bitch in the back seat, she's going to tell you, no, stay small. You know, she's she was definitely saying to me for a while, ooh, face to camera. I don't know. Maybe you shouldn't, Sandra. Maybe you should try to lose that menopause weight first. Maybe you should get some Botox in those 11 lines in between your eyebrows, which I call my what the fuck lines. And apparently I have made that look like what the fuck? Way too many times because those suckers are deep. They're permanent. I think there's like maybe even like indentation in my skull at this point. Anyway, I took on this challenge and then I pulled myself back. I could feel it. I decided I was gonna go all in. I decided that the universe was leading me to exactly what I wanted to do. And then I could feel myself pull back, but we spend way too much time listening to that negative self-talk. We spend way too much time thinking that that's the truth, and it's not. The truth is the little things that we're led to, the truth is the goal that we have set for ourselves, the truth is the amazing relationships, the amazing friendships. The truth is everything that feels aligned. The truth is what your soul feels is right. The truth is what you hear in the whispers. The truth is that everything can feel so effortless, so free. Does that mean that you're gonna have problems? Absolutely fucking not. I mean, we all do. I posted something the other day, and I just like I loved it so much. And it was like the biggest problem we have in the world today is thinking we shouldn't have problems. We are gonna have problems, but we can navigate them with so much more ease so that those problems don't feel like something we need to roll around in. Stop Rolling In Negative Thoughts

shit. Like, so here we go. I was talking about like taking my dogs for a walk when we lived in the mountains, and like they would go off and run, like we wouldn't see them at all. And then they would come back and they would have rolled in something gross, right? Some dead carcass, some pile of crap. I don't know, but like ew, and we would have to unbath them before we were letting them back in the house. And I really see this is this is what we do. We're on the path, we know where we're going, and then we get distracted by some disgusting slimy mess, some carcass, some pile of dog shit. And it looks attractive because it feels like we want to go there, right? It's a negative thought, and those we have a negativity bias. So those negative thoughts, they fully attract they're attractive to us, like we want to roll in them, but we don't have to, we can choose to stay on the path, and that's what's amazing about this whole thing. I signed up for something that the universe had other plans, and then I recognized I could sit and listen. Oh, I feel resistance in my body. Why is this coming up? This is an interesting point of view. How fantastic that I can feel this because this resistance is a negative thought pattern that I can fix so that I can show up in the world exactly the way I'm meant to.

Zone Of Brilliance And Easy Action

When you coach with me, uh we find the like the path that is within your zone of brilliance. The thing that sets you apart plus the thing that you sell plus the way that you can do it in your own way, like the effortless um action that you can take, the thing that just makes you you, the thing that is so easy for you, you almost don't recognize it as a skill. But when we combine all of those things and we find your path, the resistance is less. And that's what we want. We find the least resistance, and then when we're in that neutral, sort of regulated state and we're taking action, we're still gonna have negative thoughts come up, but we can manage them. We're not in so much resistance because we're not in alignment with where we're supposed to go. We're just sitting and feeling it, recognizing it, and moving the needle forward. That's what's been happening for me this week. And that's what I love to help my clients with. So, one of the things that I talked about um this week was really just like finding your zone of brilliance and then not making everything be like a nuclear bomb if you fuck it up. Most things are not a tattoo on our faces. We don't have to overthink everything except a tattoo. Do you need to overthink a tattoo on your face? But going live, I mean, on your on your stories, you don't need to overthink that. Like they're gonna be gone in 24 hours. Yesterday I looked like a raccoon that had just come out of a garbage can. I swear, like I thought, man, okay, no makeup, my hair's not done. What was I thinking? And also, that's gonna be gone in a very short period of time. That's gonna be gone, 24 hours. Who fucking cares? Post your stuff, do the thing, don't worry about the stuff that just doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that you follow your bliss. Because when you follow your bliss, there will be doors where there were once walls. Favorite quote from Joseph Campbell. We have to just find that zone of brilliance, that bliss. And when we do, it's amazing how fast everything starts to shift. That's what's happening in my life, that's what happened is happening in my clients' lives. Like you are not meant to stay stuck. Please, please, please don't.
