SPEAKER_00:

I'm so glad that you're here. You're listening to What the Fuck Did She Just Say? With your host. That's me, Stephanie Frizzle. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random crazy gifts, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Welcome back to day 21 of my podcast advent calendar. And I am going to share with you a December 21st ritual that I just actually was sent by a past client of mine. I love this so much. I can't wait to do it this year. And I wanted to share it with you just in case you'd like to try it as well. So, as you know, December 21st is the winter solstice. It's the longest night of the year. It's probably one of my favorites because I know that the days are starting to get longer, and that means that summer's on the way. This is how this ritual works. On the winter solstice, so on December 21st, you want to write down 12 things that you really want. Not just affirmations and not smart goals, but like 12 things that you really, really want. Write them down on little pieces of paper and fold them all up so that you can't see what you wrote. Then you put them in a bowl or an envelope or a jar or whatever the hell it happens to be your choice. And then every day, starting on December 21st, and then every day starting December 21st, you pull one of those slips of papers out, and without looking at it, you burn it. You cannot reread it, you cannot second guess it. You cannot pick one up, think you know it, and go, oh shit, nope, not that one. You cannot do that. You pick one up, you do not open it, you do not look at it, and then you burn it. And as it burns, you can quietly think or say something like, I release this wish to the universe, or I release this to God, or I give this to my angels, and then that's it. You do that every single day with one little slip of paper per day. And what I love about this is it really allows for surrender and it allows us to just let go and let God, you know, let go and let someone else take care of the details. This is about letting go of control. Most of us are exhausted from just trying to control absolutely everything, and this ritual is saying some of this isn't mine to micromanage. Now on New Year's Day, you will have one slip of paper left. This is the one you opened, and this is the one that is yours to take care of. So the universe is gonna handle 11, but you're going to handle one. So on January 1st of 2026, you open that piece of paper, and that is your responsibility for the year. The universe is handling the rest. Isn't that the cutest, coolest ritual you've ever heard? I absolutely love it. I cannot wait to do this myself this year, and I'm so excited to see what my wish is that I have to take care of on January the 1st. In tomorrow's podcast, I'm gonna give you a little bit more on what to do on January the 1st. So I look forward to seeing you back here for day 22. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you've always dreamed of. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your besties. Leave a review down below. I look forward to bringing along with, and I will see you in the next episode.
