SPEAKER_00:

I'm so glad that you're here. You're listening to What the Fuck Did She just Say? With your host. That's me, Stephen Facebook. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random crazy gift, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Welcome back to another episode of What the Fuck Did She Just Say? Today is day 14 of my advent calendar. And I want to talk about intentionality and presence a little bit more. This year I've really tried to spend time in appreciation, in gratitude for the small things, the small moments, for the present moment right this second. I received a few pictures from a friend of mine, and she had she has a sort of a large dollhouse. And so she was on the one side of her dollhouse that doesn't have the wall, you know, on the back side. And she had taken a picture from the back side of the dollhouse through to the front, and in the front door was the front doors were open, and her niece was on the other side. So it was like looking through from the dollhouse's perspective at her little niece that was looking into the dollhouse. She had this just the cutest little look on her face, like just filled with wonderment and joy about this dollhouse. And she placed the little baby inside the dollhouse. And my friend's comment was childhood is so precious. And I love that she caught that moment. I love that she was present for that moment because do you know how easy it would be for her to be cooking away, cleaning away, not paying attention at all, and she would miss that look, she would miss that picture, miss the gratitude for that moment. But what if we spent the holidays intentionally like her niece, just filled with wonderment and excitement and joy? What if we laid down all of our problems and all of our burdens just for a moment? We hold on to, especially if we're really struggling, right? We hold on to all of our stories. But what if you just put them down for a moment? What if you just put them down for a day? What if you just put down your stories long enough to experience the magic of Christmas? What if you allowed for magic? When we spend time grateful for where we are, it's amazing what other things show up that we are grateful for. I wrote a post on the 13th. It's on my Instagram and it's also on my Facebook page, The Feng Shui Chick. And it's a prayer that Louise Hay used to say that would change your life. The intention is every single morning, as soon as you wake up, you say, All is well, everything is working out for my highest good, and out of each experience I go through, only good will come to me. I am safe, I am protected, and I am loved. What happens when we say that is we're actually programming our subconscious mind to look for more evidence that all is well. Our subconscious mind believes what we repeat, and it also tries to prove itself right. It is like the ego trying to always be right. So when you say everything is fucking shitty, life is shitty. Guess what? When you start your day like that, you're looking for evidence that life is shitty. If you start the day watching the news and it's drama, trauma, and awful stories, guess what? You are looking for evidence that it's true. But what if you started the day, all is well, everything is working out for my highest good, and out of each experience I go through, only good will come to me. I am safe, I am protected, I am loved. Say that in the morning. And then you'll start to look around and see things that you're grateful for. What if you started out the day saying everything always works out for me? I am always in the right place at the right time. What if you started out your day saying I believe in miracles or miracles are attracted to me or miracles come to me? I am abundant. I am blissfully happy. I am the luckiest person on the earth. When you start your day by saying those things, your subconscious mind goes to fucking town trying to prove that you're right. Start your day like that. And bonus, if you can continue your day like that, put something up on your mirror. This is how you can use your space to sort of trigger that memory. Put a sticky note up on your mirror. Everything is always working out for me. All is well. I am safe. I am always in the right place at the right time. The reason that I've been so focused on gratitude, on the side of my on my bedside table, I have a framed little painting that just says thankful. And I try to be thankful and present every single day. I wake up to that, I look at it every single day, and I really do focus on thankfulness, gratefulness, and gratitude. I hope you do the same. If you can start your day like that with a beautiful affirmation or prayer, you'll start to see that there's a lot more in your life that you're grateful for. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you've always dreamed of. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your best fees. Leave a review down below. I look forward to bringing along with it, and I will see you in the next one.
