SPEAKER_00:

I'm so glad that you're here. You're listening to what the fuck did you just say? With your host. That's me. Step the first table. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go off in. I say random crazy, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did it. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Welcome back to my podcast advent calendar. Today is day 10, and we are talking about two appliances that sort of run your entire life this month. Your stove or your stovetop and your oven. And they don't get enough credit. We sort of look at them like they're the work horses, like all they're there to do is cook for us, right? But it is like the prosperity engine of your home. So in this episode, I want to talk to you about how to use them to support your money and your mood and your sanity throughout the holidays. So the stove represents wealth, opportunity, and what you put out into the world. And it's sort of like where your energy transforms into fuel. And so when the stove energy is off, like if your stovetop is maybe not clean, or one of your elements maybe doesn't work, that stove energy feels off. And you might feel tired or stuck, exhausted, that money won't stretch far enough. And like you're literally doing everything by yourself. When you have good stove energy, there's this sense of flow and capacity, nourishment, abundance. It's literally the heart of daily support. So the stove is like quick activation of things, and the oven is like long-term stability. So if you think in terms of energy and also money, you can see that quick generation of money is on the stove top. The oven represents that long-term stability of it. And I mean, quite it's very literal too, right? Because we cook things quickly on the stovetop and we cook things for a longer period of time in the oven. Like feng shui, I find is there's so many mysteries to it, but like it is also so very practical. Like in my mind, it just makes logical sense. So if we think in terms of the stove and the oven providing for us, providing food, providing nourishment, providing money. We want to keep it clean, right? We want to make sure that they are working well and that we keep it as clean as possible. A clean stove is clear opportunity. That's what it means. And a dirty stove is sort of like stagnant money, even just wiping it down, and especially if you can do so with intention, like wiping it down, going, I'm ready for good things, I'm ready for more money. Every time you can do something like that intentionally, it magnifies that energy, that magic. And I want you to use all the burners. If you're like me, I I have to intentionally use all of the burners because I tend to have a favorite one, and most people have a favorite burner, which is weird, right? Like, why would you have a favorite burner? It's so strange. But I feel like most of us do. But if you think of each burner representing potential income stream or potential opportunities, turning them on activates those opportunities and it activates different areas or different places that money can come to you. So you really want to consciously use all of your burners, sort of rotate your favorites. And then you want to turn on the stove light. I typically don't turn on my stove light, but I do have a range hood that has a light on it, and I keep that on quite often. And it just sort of like is a signal saying that the stove or the oven is important and that it provides for us. For the oven that represents this sort of deep, long-standing stability. We want to make sure that we clean the door, at least the outside. If you can't clean the inside, preheat it every once in a while, even if you don't use it. Like I often think of Carrie Bradshaw and Sex in the City, right? Like, didn't she leave? I I think that she she kept shoes in her oven because she never used it, being in New York. Not great feng shui. So we want to make sure that you just preheat it once in a while, just a little bit, even if you're not baking, because it turns on this sort of long-term abundance. It gives sort of energy to that oven and even just a few minutes. Now, here's what's also important. A lot of times I notice that I will rush my meals, or I'll eat standing up, or I won't really pay attention to nourish myself as much as I should. And the stove and the oven hold this energy of I matter, my needs matter, nourishment matters, support is allowed, it's okay to receive. And money responds to a person who is supported and who believes that it's okay to accept, accept help, accept support for for those of us who like to do everything ourselves. That's sort of blocking that money energy. And so we want to be able to accept and receive. Today, give your stove and your oven a little love, wipe them down, use them, turn them on. And this is not because feng shui says you should. I mean, feng shui says you should, and so do I. But it's because your home reflects your energy. I love this day 10, and I'm gonna see you back here for day 11. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you've always dreamed up. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your best needs. Leave a review down below. I look forward to reviewing, and I will see you in the next episode.
