WTF did she just say?
Oh my goshhhhhhhhhh welcome to my podcast!!! I'm so excited that you're here and I am honoured that you choose to place ME in your AirPods every week!!!
Here's a bit about me:
My name is Sandra. I'm a business coach for women, a feng shui practitioner and a 2x national leadership award winner. In saying all of that though, I feel like I'm just a girl from Saskatchewan, who is put on this earth to inspire you to step into your power ... right fuckin' now.
I think that all too often, we convince ourselves that there is nothing we can do ... that our life "is what it is" and that ONE DAY we might be able to have the life that we dreamed of.
Uhmmmm NO.
That's bullshit.
Sorry ... but it's true. In a split second, you can choose differently. In THIS moment, you can take that courageous step toward the life you desire. It's my job, my gift and my obsession to help you share your sparkle with the world and I'm excited to get started.
You got this. Let's go.

I'm so glad that you're here. You are listening to what the fuck is people saying? Your host means that it's a little bit. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random craziness. Which is why I called this podcast the way that I did it. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Welcome back to another episode of What the Fuck Did She Just Say? Today is day six on the podcast advent calendar, and I'm talking about where in the hell to put your Christmas tree. I think that a lot of feng shui practitioners would sort of grab the bagwa map and or well, I mean, we can walk into a space and we can tell you where it is. We don't need the map, but you know, we would suggest that you look at your space and determine what area of your life you want to enhance and then put the Christmas tree in that area. I think there's some really great places that you could place your Christmas tree. I mean, back left corner of your home is the wealth gua. So adding a Christmas tree into your wealth area would be really good. It would activate abundance. But the wealth gua in my home happens to be my bedroom, and I'm not putting my Christmas tree in my bedroom. I don't have room for it, and I don't want a whole bunch of people walking through there. So you can see it's just not always practical. And the way that I think of feng shui is practicality over feng shui perfection. Not every house is going to be feng shui perfect, but you're not always gonna have a perfect setup. So what I suggest is you sort of decide where you're going to put your tree, usually, and I think this comes innately, but usually you're gonna place it in a place where you see it all the time or you can appreciate the beauty of it. So you see it a lot of the time, but it's also out of the way. So you're not knocking it over and you don't have to like pole vault over the couch just to get to the bathroom because it's in the way. You don't want it to block off hallways or block off the chi flow, but you do want to be able to see it a lot of the times. So instead of choosing where to place your Christmas tree based on the bagwa map, what I tend to do is choose your ideal spot that's practical in your space, and then look at the bagwa map. You see which gua you have placed your tree in, and then you know what area of your life you have activated in a great way. We haven't placed our Christmas tree in the back middle gua of our home. That's fame and reputation. I love the fame and reputation spot because it represents courage and leadership and confidence and being seen in the world. I mean, what a better place for me to place our Christmas tree, especially because I mean, I have that book in my fame and reputation area that is it's an Al-Anon book, but it's titled Courage to Change. And I have it placed there because I want to be known for not only having the courage to change for myself, but also that I want to attract women who have the courage to change or quite frankly, who want the courage to change. So for me to place a Christmas tree in the fame and reputation area, it just is practically the best place for it, but also it tells a story that I absolutely love. So if you want to look at what area you have your Christmas tree in, you can click the link in the show notes below, and that will give you access to my Feng Shui Bagwa map, and you'll be able to map out your home and then determine where just loosely, like you don't have to measure it to be perfect, but just loosely look it up and decide and pay attention to where your Christmas tree is and what area of your life it's going to be activating in the best way possible. Now, once you've got that figured out, there's another few things that you can do that really energetically enhance the tree you have. So the first thing is a tree skirt. Tree skirts had this grounding effect, it stabilizes the energy and then everything sort of feels less chaotic. It kind of has the same effect as when you have an area rug and you place like just design-wise PS. When I was taking my interior design diploma, one of the things they talked about was having an area rug large enough so that all of the chairs and the sofas had their front feet on it. It provides this grounding effect. So having a tree skirt or having some sort of fabric, it adds a grounding effect and it stabilizes that energy. So it doesn't feel that chaotic. The other thing that you can do is add a pop of red or gold. Red and gold, they sort of wake up the wealth and recognition sectors of your home. Um, and you don't need to do a lot, but just a little bit. Now, for me, our decor and the upstairs, which is where a Christmas tree is, it is red and gold. Red, gold, and silver, actually. So my tree is covered in red, gold, and silver. In addition to all the special ornaments that we really have on the tree. So number three is something meaningful. You want to have at least one ornament that represents a memory or something that brings you joy, or maybe even a goal. I have all of them. I have a sparkly high-heeled shoe that represents my business. Um, I have some beautiful Swarovski crystal snowflakes that my friend gives me every year. I got a really cool ornament from one of my clients this year, and it's so beautiful. It's handcrafted snowflake, but it says fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck all over it in script. And what I love about it is that you can't see it until you see it. It's so cool. But then we also have little s'mores ornaments that represent the four of us in the family. And every year we get a new one, and it really is representative of us of that year. So last year, my son got one that was a little football player s'mores ornament. My daughter got a nursing one. I think my husband got a firefighter one. Um, I can't remember what mine was last year, but I have a charcuterie one. This year I got um a skating one. They're so representative of ourselves. And the other thing I think that you should do is just have a little bit of fun. I have one ornament that happens to be SpongeBob catching all the little jellyfish. And it just is a fun ornament, and it's something that we have had for probably 20 years when the kids were super little. And I just find it so fun, and I love to see it sort of dancing around and dangling around there. And um, so I think fun is important too. You want to make sure that not only do you have the grounding elements and the sort of memorabilia or something that just feels good to you, but you also want to turn the lights on more often than not. You want to make sure that you're able to appreciate it and also remove anything that's broken or anything that feels chaotic, anything that is annoying to you. You want the Christmas tree to benefit you energetically, and you want to really look at it and feel joy. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you always dreamed up. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your best means. Leave a review down below. I look forward to bringing more people, and I will see you in the next episode.
