WTF did she just say?
Oh my goshhhhhhhhhh welcome to my podcast!!! I'm so excited that you're here and I am honoured that you choose to place ME in your AirPods every week!!!
Here's a bit about me:
My name is Sandra. I'm a business coach for women, a feng shui practitioner and a 2x national leadership award winner. In saying all of that though, I feel like I'm just a girl from Saskatchewan, who is put on this earth to inspire you to step into your power ... right fuckin' now.
I think that all too often, we convince ourselves that there is nothing we can do ... that our life "is what it is" and that ONE DAY we might be able to have the life that we dreamed of.
Uhmmmm NO.
That's bullshit.
Sorry ... but it's true. In a split second, you can choose differently. In THIS moment, you can take that courageous step toward the life you desire. It's my job, my gift and my obsession to help you share your sparkle with the world and I'm excited to get started.
You got this. Let's go.

I'm so glad that you're here. You're listening to what the fuck did she just say? With your host. That's me. Step the first table. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random crazy gifts, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did it. And I really hate long, drawn-out intros. So let's fucking go. Well, welcome back to another episode of What the Fuck Did She Just Say? This year I purchased advent calendars for my adult son and daughter. And it got me thinking about just how fun it is to have something to open every single day in anticipation of Christmas Day. I always think of Christmas Day as like, you know, you spend so much time and energy wrapping the gifts, finding the gifts, making everything so fantastic, planning the meal, and it goes by so fast. And then I'm always fucking disappointed. Like I'm always disappointed in all of the effort. And then it seems like it's gone in such a short period of time. So I love advent calendars because it's like one little gift every single day. And it just kind of builds up the excitement. Now, this year, my son um he wanted this fishing advent calendar. It's fun from, I think it's called fish frostbite.ca or frostbite.ca. I'm not sure. Anyway, it's a fish hook a day for 24 days, which I think is pretty fucking cool. And I'm excited to see what exactly he gets out of that. My daughter, I sort of shit the bed, and she wanted the Sephora advent calendar. And uh I missed it. I mean like the Sephora favorites calendar. Um it was gone so fast. And so I don't know, they had other Sephora calendars, advent calendars, they weren't that great. So I decided that I was gonna make my own, which was fun. And so I'm excited for for her to start opening that on December 1st. But here's the here's the reason that I'm telling you about these two advent calendars is as I was creating this and as I was thinking about how special they are, I started thinking about how fun it would be to do like an advent calendar on the pod. For the month of December, or anyway, December 1st to the December 24th, I am going to be sharing with you one feng shui tip every single day. Day one is going to be super special and fun, and it's gonna be one feng shui tip that kind of builds the anticip and anticipation that builds the excitement towards Christmas Day. But it's also with the intention that these little pockets of fun, um, these little you know, short little bits of podcast joy are gonna help you have an even better Christmas season, a better December, um, a more magical Christmas day. Okay. So today is day one. We're gonna talk about the December reset. December sort of carries three big energy drains visual clutter, emotional clutter, and energetic clutter. So visual clutter is like the decorations, the gifts, the bags, the boxes, the kids, shit, the all of the shit. And emotional clutter is expectations, expectations that you have for yourself, expectations that you have from others, um, you know, even just who you are in a family dynamic, right? And like pressure to make things completely magical. Energetic clutter is the stuff of like, I should do this, I should do that. It's when we should on ourselves, it's when like I should be farther ahead. And it really is like we're trying to run in fucking quicksand. So most people, I think, don't realize that their homes are absorbing that stress, it absorbs it like a sponge, and all of our space holds onto that energy. So once your space is clogged, you feel clogged. And so it's like you're trying to function, you're trying to be calm, you know, you're meditating in a bomb zone, you are sitting and trying to be calm, cool, collected, the fun mom, the one who doesn't lose her shit. But here's the thing: it's like your space is yelling at you. Everything needs attention. The wreath on the door, you're paying attention to it. The decorations, you're paying attention to them. The Christmas wrap that is in the middle of your room, you're paying attention to it. Everything is asking for your attention, and then you wonder why you lose your shit sometimes. So all we want to do in this moment right now is clear one area of your home. It's like an instant improvement in your chi. So choose one surface, like any, I mean, clearing off a surface is always good, but clear off one surface. I don't care what it is. It could be your nightstand. If your nightstand is stressing you out, clear it off. It could be your kitchen island. That's usually what pisses me off the most. But choose whatever is pissing you off the most and clear it off completely. Move everything off, wipe it all down, make sure it's nice and clear, and then look at it and give it this fresh start. Put back only the things that support the vibe you want. Not the vibe you should have, not the one that's on Pinterest, not just placing something there because it looks good. Like, I want you to place something there that feels good to you. That like, because that's always the goal of Feng Shui. Like, what makes you feel good? When you clear one surface, you kind of create this little pocket of calm. And so your nervous system like looks at it and it's like you have this physical energetic side. Like, oh, that feels so good. Right? You don't need to do your whole house, your brain just you just need one tiny win. One tiny win. And then I want you to look at it all the time. I want you to pay attention, you look at it and go, oh my god, that is like the best kitchen island I have ever seen. It makes me feel so good. I love it so much. And I want you to focus on keeping it there. Go tell your family members, don't fucking touch my kitchen island, don't sit at it, don't look at it, don't don't put your keys on it. It is pristine, it is staying this way. This makes me happy and then move on with your day. Like literally stare at it, breathe, like just enjoy that your home and your energy are sinking up again. And your space will quit quiet, you'll get quiet, and then all of a sudden the month feels less like chaos and more like something you can steer because it is literally taking you a few minutes to feel better, and that's it. That's as easy as feng shui can be. There's your day one, and it sets the tone for the rest of December. Stay tuned for day two. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you've always dreamed up. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your best needs. Leave a review down below. I look forward to working on these, and I will see you in the next episode.
