My name is Sandra. I'm a business coach for women, a feng shui practitioner and a 2x national leadership award winner. In saying all of that though, I feel like I'm just a girl from Saskatchewan, who is put on this earth to inspire you to step into your power ... right fuckin' now.
I think that all too often, we convince ourselves that there is nothing we can do ... that our life "is what it is" and that ONE DAY we might be able to have the life that we dreamed of.

I'm so glad that you're here. You are listening to what the fuck did she just say with your host? That's me, sandra Priestly. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random, crazy shit, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did, and I really hate long drawn out intros. So let's fucking go.
Speaker 1:I've intentionally designed this podcast so that you can get tiny little snippets, little quick injections of inspiration, even if it happens to be little injections of an escape from your shitty job, while you're standing waiting for the coffee to brew at coffee break. Like I'm hoping that you're going to come to this podcast and just have a moment where you just feel like everything is possible and that everything is figureoutable, and that I give you just one tiny thing, one tiny tip every single day, that you can just shift your energy so you live a little happier. And so, for today, what I want you to do is I want you to stop stopping yourself. I want you to sit and think what is the thing that you want to do, what is the thing that you can't stop thinking about that you have in the back of your mind that you really, really, really really want to do. And then the second thing that I want you to do is figure out what your excuses are. What are the excuses that your brain is coming up with to keep you safe? Now, if you're like me, what comes up is now is not the perfect time, and we come up with all sorts of ridiculous reasons why now is not the perfect time to take the action. But you and I both know that's bullshit. You and I both know that perfect never happens. If it did, then we would only be keeping ourselves stuck for a month, two months, three months, but you know what Lots of people that I talk to have kept themselves stuck for years, and I don't want that to be you. So what we're going to do is go back to the thing that you can't stop thinking about, the thing that you want to do, and I want you to sit right now and realize that you are not going to get unstuck by thinking about getting unstuck, and you're not going to journal your way into action without actually taking action.
Speaker 1:Sometimes we sit here and we even will ask the universe or ask God give me a sign. Show me. If I'm supposed to take action on this dream, then I can't stop thinking about it. Ps, if you can't stop thinking about it, it means that it is meant for you. But sometimes we say dear God, please, if I'm meant to take action on this dream of mine, show me a bird, and a bird will fly right in front of your face and then you'll sit there and say, oh, but I didn't specify what kind of bird. That was a blue jay. Maybe I should have said a cardinal, because I don't really know. You know what? God, can you give me another sign? We ask God, we ask universe for signs.
Speaker 1:We get the answer and we still don't believe it because we're sitting in fear, we're overthinking, overanalyzing and we're allowing fear to win. Our brain wants us to stay small. Our brain is just programmed for this purpose, right? Our ego doesn't want to be hurt, and so we sit and we play small and we choose insecurity and we think overthinking has got to be the answer, right, let me just think out all of the problems. But it's not. We both know that the only thing we need to do is start doing. You need to move.
Speaker 1:90 days from now, you're either going to be high-fiving yourself in the mirror, like Mel Robbins says. You're actually making shit happen. You're taking steps to make shit happen, or you're going to be in the same place, having the same conversation with yourself, wondering why you're still stuck. And you're meant for more than that. You are not meant for the assembly line of tasks. You are meant to thrive, so take action in whatever way possible.
