I'm so glad that you're here. You are listening to what the fuck did she just say with your host, that's me, sandra Priestly. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random, crazy shit, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did, and I really hate long drawn out intros, so let's fucking go. Welcome back to another episode of what the fuck did she just say.

Speaker 1:

Today is Feng Shui Friday and this is going to be a quickie, but a good one. Um, earlier in the work this week, one of the women in the group which I think I'm going to call a challenge, I don't know. I, like one of the women in the group, said what do we call this? Is it a challenge? Is it? Is it a program? And I never really thought about that. I just called it the work and fucking ran out the door. You know what I mean, like. But I think I'm going to call it a challenge because that is what it is. It's a commitment to showing up every single day, doing the work, doing the things that you need to do every single day in all of the areas that you can control your thoughts, your emotions, your feelings and what you fucking do, your reactions Like that's it, that's all we can control. We can't control anyone else, we can't control the wind, we can't control circumstances Like the only thing that we can do is control our thoughts, our emotions and our actions. And so I think it's a 90-day commitment, or longer if you choose, but 90 days. You join and you've got 90 days to just show up every single day and see what the fuck happens. Because I'm telling you what happens magic. The only thing that stops us from achieving all of our goals manifesting our goals and achieving our goals, or manifesting our dreams and achieving our goals the only thing that stops us is us, and it's because we don't show up, we don't go all in, we don't do the fucking work, like that's it.

Speaker 1:

So earlier this week, one of the women in the challenge, in the work challenge, one of the women was saying she was struggling throughout the day and so she decided to do a couple of things. Number one she decided to put her daily tasks, like the daily things that she was going to do for her mindset, energy and action. She was going to put them front and center, so that she was looking at them every single day. She wasn't getting stuck. And then, all of a sudden, it's like 10 o'clock at night and she's thinking fuck, I haven't journaled, I haven't done my affirmations, I haven't done my exercise, I haven't meditated, I haven't followed my diet and I haven't drank two liters of water. And it's 10 o'clock at night. I'm going to have to do all of this now.

Speaker 1:

But if you have it in your space, if there's something in your space that triggers you to focus on what it is that you need to do, it's effective. Um, that's feng shui. Right, like we mystify feng shui, we think we have to grab our compass and make everything so complex and and you know, grab some golden, don't Like at the whole. Core of what I teach feng shui to be is use your space to trick your mind into remembering where the fuck you're going. Your space should not represent where you've been, and especially not where you don't want to be anymore. You want your space to trigger your subconscious mind to go hey, move here, do this. This is let's do this Now. Here's the other thing.

Speaker 1:

If I were to actually back up the bus, the other thing that she wants to do is she wants to create a sign for herself that she can put somewhere, that she sees, that reminds her to not focus on the past, to not focus on where she was victim to something, to not focus on her, to not throw herself down that rabbit hole. What she wants is something in her space, a sign in her space to remind her to keep moving forward and to not looking back because, like, we're not going that way. Right, there's that saying that says something like there's a reason that the windshield is so much bigger than a rear view mirror and that's because the windshield shows you where you're going and a rear view mirror is smaller and it shows you where you've been. I feel like that's a sentence, but I might be wrong, but you get the drift. It's like, don't look in the rear view mirror, you're not fucking going that way, but we tend to do that. So she's going to put something in her space that makes her feel good, put something in her space that just focuses her forward on goal attainment, why she wants to attain her goals, and something that reminds her to not get stuck in the past. So I don't have a fancy machine, I don't have, but what I'll do is just literally take an eyebrow pencil and write it on my mirror in my own suite. That's good enough. Like, just need a constant reminder. Stick something on your fucking fridge Although be careful, because you don't want a whole bunch of things on your fridge. Put something on your phone. I have a picture of myself when I felt my healthiest. It's on the background of my phone. It's my phone wallpaper. I could also put it on my computer.

Speaker 1:

You know you can put something in your space that is speaking to your subconscious mind that says, okay, let's go, let's focus forward. Like, let's not get stuck in the past. Where are we going? Why are we going there? And let's move. Here's the key. You want to put this in a place where it stands out to you so that you notice it.

Speaker 1:

If you were to put a picture or a sign somewhere, you put it in your space and it's in amongst a ton of other things, a lot of other clutter. You're not going to notice the one sign you've added. You're just going to notice all the clutter and it's just going to become something that you numb to. You don't want to numb to it. You want to have something that is in your space that you notice every day, that has a significant place in your home. Have it a place of significance. And then, when you start to notice, when you think, oh wait, you know what? I haven't noticed that sign anymore, I haven't seen it for a while, I'm not paying attention to it. A know that your subconscious mind did, but B move it. Move it or create a new one so that your conscious mind recognizes it as well as the subconscious mind. I mean, we're all about reprogramming the shit that holds us back right. We're about releasing and reprogramming all of those limiting beliefs. So we're going to do everything we can and we're going to use our space to do it as well.

Choose your goal, put something in your space that reminds you of that fucking goal and go all in.
