Speaker 1:

I'm so glad that you're here. You are listening to. What the fuck did she just say with your host? That's me, sandra Priestly. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random, crazy shit, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did, and I really hate long drawn out intros, so let's fucking go. Yesterday's podcast ended sort of abruptly and that was because I could feel myself going in a completely different direction.

Speaker 1:

I was talking to a girlfriend of mine earlier and she she had said that she was worried she had late onset ADHD and we decided that we don't have dementia, we don't have late onset ADHD. It's menopause. Like it does something to your brain. You know the pregnancy brain. This is like pregnancy brain on steroids. This menopause. It is not ideal sometimes, you know, but we're going with it.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, what I was going off on a tangent was this Every time I run a program, run a coaching group, run some type of challenge, like I am doing with the work, like I did as a Beachbody coach, every single time I try to show up the most. I am the one that goes first. I am the one that does the work. I am the one that shows up as much as I humanly possibly can. And there's a reason why I think I said this a few. I think I said this on one of my podcast episodes in December too. But because when in my very first challenge group that I attended as a challenger with team beach body, I signed up with a coach and the coach showed up, you know, she posted her selfies and she posted a recipe she found on the internet and she wasn't really a cook. But there was one girl in the group that I just found so damn motivating. I could tell she gave a shit. I could tell she cared about my transformation. I could tell that she just so much wanted me to win. She wasn't buying my excuses, she wasn't. She was like so, so good, she was motivating, she was inspiring, she was nonjudgmental and she kicked me in the ass in the right fucking times and I feel like that was the very best example that I ever had set for myself with what a coach really does.

Speaker 1:

A coach knows the way, has been there, but also continues to do the work. The ones I respect anyway. It takes two seconds to go on chat GPT and create a fucking course and throw it up online and charge an arm and a leg for it, but I don't have respect for that at all. I want to know that coaches that I hire do the fucking work with me. I want them to go first and I'll follow, and I want the same for any of the women that hire me too. And whether you sign up with me in the work in my membership called the Powerhouse whether it's one-on-one coaching, whether it's a clarity call or any of the programs that I have that are live I want you to see me show up for you.

Speaker 1:

I want you to see me in the arena with you. It's extremely fucking important to me that you see me doing the work too, because that's what I appreciate in a coach for me, I appreciate a coach that doesn't just tell me what to do and then go and eat a fucking sandwich. I appreciate the coach that guides me, that shows me and that is the trailblazer. I love helping women find their own path, do their own thing, become successful in their own right, because they're following what is right for them, and you'll see me follow the path that's right for me. But we're still in the arena together. We're still both doing the work.

Speaker 1:

I will never hire a coach that just uses chat, gpt and then falls off. I won't do it, and I suspect that if you're listening to this podcast, you won't either. This is just my integrity. I want you to know that I'm in this with you, and I think that you probably do, because the majority of this podcast is me saying to you all of the different ways, all of the lessons that I've learned. Really, it's not all gravy, but I love that you're here with me and I love that you are loving my stories.

Speaker 1:

Thank you so much for all of the comments and thank you so much for sharing this podcast with your friends. I love seeing them, I love seeing the new places pop up in the world and I love sharing all of it with you. So we're in the arena together, you and me, let's go, you and me, let's go. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you've always dreamed of. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your besties and leave a review down below. I look forward to bringing you along on this journey journey, and I will see you in the next episode.
