WTF did she just say?
Oh my goshhhhhhhhhh welcome to my podcast!!! I'm so excited that you're here and I am honoured that you choose to place ME in your AirPods every week!!!
Here's a bit about me:
My name is Sandra. I'm a business coach for women, a feng shui practitioner and a 2x national leadership award winner. In saying all of that though, I feel like I'm just a girl from Saskatchewan, who is put on this earth to inspire you to step into your power ... right fuckin' now.
I think that all too often, we convince ourselves that there is nothing we can do ... that our life "is what it is" and that ONE DAY we might be able to have the life that we dreamed of.
Uhmmmm NO.
That's bullshit.
Sorry ... but it's true. In a split second, you can choose differently. In THIS moment, you can take that courageous step toward the life you desire. It's my job, my gift and my obsession to help you share your sparkle with the world and I'm excited to get started.
You got this. Let's go.

Your Secret Weapon to achieve all of your goals in 2025 ✨
I record this episode after the first day of THE WORK has been completed (and my family is sleeping, so if I sound like I'm whispering ... it's cause I am).
One of the things that I implement in this group is DAILY REFLECTION (and subsequent adjustments if needed).
Listen in and achieve your goals with this method.

I'm so glad that you're here. You are listening to what the fuck did she just say with your host? That's me, sandra Priestly. I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in. I say random, crazy shit, which is why I called this podcast the way that I did, and I really hate long drawn out intros. So let's fucking go.
Speaker 2:Hey there, I'm recording this on the evening of January 1st and I'm really excited to tell you what happened on day one of the work. So if you have been hiding under a rock and this is the first time that you have ever heard my podcast, then this is probably the first time you've ever heard me talk about the work. But the work is a container that I've created for 2025. And I created it because I really felt like I needed it as well. When I had a goal and I focused on daily tasks every single day in three different areas mindset, energy and action I hit my goals, and I actually hit them way faster than I ever dreamed possible. And if I was sort of just haphazardly trying to do something towards my goals and trying to commit every single day towards my goals, when I did that, I wasn't consistent enough, I wasn't committed enough, I wasn't disciplined enough, I wasn't committed enough, I wasn't disciplined enough and I didn't hit my fucking goals. And so this group is really a group designed for the woman who wants to remain committed, who is like going all in. So in this group, what we do is we choose the goal, we choose the daily tasks under all three areas mindset, energy and action and we choose them for ourselves, right Like cause. Every single person in the group has a different goal that they've set for themselves. At the end of the day, we check back into the group and we write out if we completed all of our tasks. So today I did complete all my tasks. Yay, so I was able to write M E A.
Speaker 2:But the reflection piece isn't just a checkbox. The reflection piece also goes a little bit deeper, because in this group we also look at, because in this group we also look at did I complete the tasks, yes or no? If yes, why? What happened? Was my day perfect? Did I do most of the work in the morning? Did I wait until after I had a nap? What made it a successful day? And if I didn't get all of those tasks completed? And if I didn't get all of those tasks completed, why not? What happened? What did I allow myself to get distracted by? Did I make excuses for myself? Did I have situations that got me distracted? Did I have people in my space? Did I not prioritize myself? Was I not feeling good? Did I not prioritize myself? Was I not feeling good? Was I tired? Did I not get enough sleep? Or, in general, was I just listening to the bitch in the back seat and just wanting to? Not? Was I just getting distracted and saying to myself, oh geez, I completely forgot. So I can't journal today.
Speaker 2:The reflection piece is a really important piece and it's something that I think we don't do often enough, and why? Possibly because when we look back, we're looking back with guilt, with shame, with frustration. We're judging ourselves so harshly for not doing the dang thing, so we don't even look at it, or we convince ourselves that we're not going to judge ourselves and we're not going to look back because you know why would we do that? That's too harsh. And Then we don't show up for ourselves day in and day out.
Speaker 2:The key to the reflection piece is to take a step back, just like I do when I step on the scale every day. I step on the scale with no emotion attached and I look at it as information. Okay, I've gone up three pounds or I've gone down three pounds. Why? What happened? What did I do well? What did I not do well? I mean, let's face it, I could lose three pounds by not eating, but that is not going to be ideal, so it's still not going to be considered like a success, right?
Speaker 2:So being able to reflect back on your day what worked, what didn't, why, why not, how do I feel about it and what will I do differently next day, or what will I choose to take with me and do the same it's so valuable and it will be the thing that gets you closer to your goal faster than you think. That gets you closer to your goal faster than you think. The key is to do this every single day and then the next day, keep working towards your goal, because if you sit in judgment, in fear, in anger, in guilt, in shame, and then you just sit in avoidance, you will be farther and farther away every single day, and that's not the vibe. The vibe for 2025 is hitting every single goal we have set for ourselves. Reflection is key. See you tomorrow.
Speaker 1:Thank you so much for listening. I hope you've had some laughs, maybe some ideas, and that you've been inspired to take some type of action toward the life you've always dreamed of. If you feel so called, I would love it if you would share with your besties and leave a review down below. I look forward to bringing you along on this journey and I will see you in the next episode.
